Kentarou is a plain, nondescript college student who has never had a girlfriend or any friends. After getting hit on the head by a wayward ball, he begins to notice that there are increasingly long periods of time in which he cannot remember what he was doing. One afternoon, he regains consciousness in an apartment he'd never been to before - and sitting next to him is a young man who then tells him "You're being possessed by the spirit of my dead girlfriend"...

The story takes place in the '60s, in a mysterious city where madness and lust seem to be the citizens' constant companions. A detective named Sada (with a "certain" wound) pursues a woman accused of murder.

Usagi Tsukino is a normal girl until she meets up with Luna, a talking cat, who tells her that she is Sailor Moon. As Sailor Moon, Usagi must fight evils and enforce justice, in the name of the Moon and the mysterious Moon Princess. She meets other girls destined to be Sailor Senshi (Sailor Scouts), and together, they fight the forces of evil! Note: The anime is LOOSELY based on the manga, so that might be why the story might seem unrecognizable. Also, Naoko Takeuchi released a re-illustrated version of Sailor Moon a few years after the series had been finished after she had dropped Love Witch. This manga won the Kodansha Manga Award in 1993 for shōjo.

The story is set on one day during summer vacation. It follows a group of boys who try to view a fireworks display from the town lighthouse to see if they look round or flat when viewed from the side. Meanwhile, one of the boys, Norimichi, receives an invitation from his crush Nazuna to run away with her.

Mayuzumi Asahi is a university student in Economics who lives alone and from time to time cooks for his two buddies. He also is a Otaku for a magical girls show called "Ikai no Majoko" (t/n: "Magical Girl from another World") and collects figurines, posters and other merchandise of it. This show has a twist that reveals that the Attackers from another world are actually from 10000 years in the past, which makes him consider the show a masterpiece. One day a girl with a black cat on her shoulder breaks into his apartment and attacks him with a stun gun while he is doing the dishes. He accidentally cuts himself on a knife in the process. After that ordeal he goes to work at his in a shop for Anime-related goods. In the process of going after a female costumer who'd forgotten something he saves her from harassment, but gets beaten up by the harasser for his troubles. Luckily he suddenly summons a flaming car that runs the Attacker over? He understandably gets taken into police custody afterwards, who decide to drug and kidnap him to a remote location. After getting questioned by masked figures in black uniforms they decide that he is a Witch and burn him alive accordingly.

She is rushed to the hospital, and there her fate crosses with Kosumo's. When the hospital discovers that Himiko has the same rare blood type as Kosumo, they decide to make her a donor, since Himiko is sure to die as a result of the accident.
