Hakuo Gakuin's spectacular baseball team usually earns them a spot in Koushien, and Tamao Azukida dreams of being a part of it. Tamao spares no effort in studying and sticking to a strict daily routine to achieve his goal. Yet, when he auditions, he meets Tao Ryuudou, an enigmatic and exceptional pitcher who may change Tamao's destiny forever. This is a new tale of baseball, urging one to aim high in the modern world.

Immediately following the conclusion of the Maximum Tournament Saga, Toba and Igari promptly engaged in their professional wrestling match.

“When we were kids, I used to take care of him every day… But now..." Ja-hyeon has ended up as nothing more than a shuttle(errand boy) for his childhood friend, Kang-bok. At school, he gets beaten up and has his money taken, and now he even has to clean Kang-bok’s kendo dojo every morning. “I can’t take it anymore!! If only I could land just one hit…!” Ja-hyeon challenges Kang-bok, who’s a skilled kendo athlete, to a match. The result is disastrous… "Wait, why haven’t I been hit even once?"

Fukutsu Toshi, the head of a mediocre high school baseball team, maintains his fervor for the game despite their persistent poor performance. The principal's dissatisfaction with their repeated defeats propels Toshi to take bold measures in order to reverse their fate. Unfortunately, impediments seem to greet him at every corner. Nonetheless, with his steadfast disposition, Toshi manages to surmount every obstacle that comes his way.

After losing his parents in a fatal car accident and sustaining severe injuries himself, Asafuji Taisei felt discouraged about his return to baseball, despite making a miraculous recovery. He faced a daunting prospect of a protracted rehabilitation process. However, one day while watching an old CRT TV that his parents gave him, he reminisced about his promise to take them to Koushien. This ignited a new sense of purpose in him. But can Taisei overcome his two-year hiatus from baseball and make it to Koushien?

When Harimanada makes his grand entrance into the world of Sumo, he causes complete uproar throughout the entire arena. The novelty headmask is clearly not a good idea but not content with just ruffling the feathers of all the spectators, he sends the the entire Sumo Association into a frenzy when he arrogantly declares that he will surpass the legendary Futabayama's consecutive run of 69 victories. Should he fail to achieve such a feat, he will immediately retire all together. Harimanada's impudent remarks cause a huge backlash as every high-ranking Yokuzuna wants the chance to knock him down and humiliate him for showing such arrogance. Thus begins Harimanada's journey to the top as he battles to topple the entire Sumo hierarchy!
