Kurata Shiho is a middle school student residing in the tranquil mountain town of Kinoto, where she devotes her energy to playing the piano for her school's music club. Her heart's desire is to share her love for music and instruct the community in playing the piano. However, her aspirations stumble when Koba Nanami, a beautiful transfer student from Tokyo, arrives on the scene. Nanami, who exudes an air of arrogance and disinterest towards the rustic atmosphere, makes a profound impression on Shiho. Shiho realizes that she is actually inferior in piano skills to Nanami, who, despite her talent, has abandoned the instrument years earlier. Shiho must confront the possibility of not measuring up to someone who is not passionate about music, leaving her to determine whether to continue pursuing her dream. As a teenager experiencing growing pains, Shiho grapples with the usual challenges of adolescence, including handling friendships, romance, and awkward moments, in addition to her ambitions.
Joutarou Kuujou arrived in Morioh in 1999 with two objectives: to meet his illegitimate uncle Jousuke Higashikata and investigate a potential threat from a Stand user. Shortly after his arrival, Joutarou achieves his first objective but is surprised to discover that Jousuke is a high school student with his own Stand named Crazy Diamond. Sotsugyo M follows the lives of five male students attending Seiryuu Private Senior High, each with unique personalities. Mikimaro Shimura desires nothing more than friendship amongst them all, while Syo Nakamoto - a brainy student - is learning how to better appreciate others. Togo Arai, known for his player and bad-boy persona, and Yuusuke Katou, an enthusiastic student with a crush on his teacher, round out the group. The newest addition is rich and polished transfer student Shimon Takagiare. These students must overcome their differences and learn to support one another, slowly opening up and forming deeper connections.
Imperial Academy is an elite private school whose student body is divided into the ranks of Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Depending on your family's wealth and your individual merit, you can be classified as a Silver or Bronze student. However, there is only one Gold student, and this year that person is Shizumasa Touguu—nicknamed "the Emperor" because he is the Student Council President.
