On the 18th of March, 0079 in the Universal Century, the Principality of Zeon conducted its third drop operation. The 4th Terrestrial Mobile Division descended towards Earth. Leading the 908th Mobile Reconnaissance Company's 2nd Team was Chief Petty Officer Cuaran who also made his way to Earth. He later attempted to obliterate the Federation's "white mobile suit", commonly known as the "Gundam".

The plot is centered on the crew of the Thoroughbred, a second Pegasus class vessel, and their mission to intercept a Zeon supply route beyond the Moon. Their ultimate goal is to prepare for "Operation Star One" by targeting Space Fortress Solomon. The Thoroughbred is equipped with two gundams, expertly piloted by Ford Romfellow and seasoned veteran Lusse Kessel, to complete this mission. A bonus one-shot: Chapter 3: The Nightmare of Solomon
In UC 0084, Lieutenant Colonel Ito Tsurugi leads the Barghest (BGST) unit, a specialized force within the Earth Federation Army. Tsurugi is unique in that he is the sole officer in the EF military who carries a katana at all times while on active duty.
Essentially, the storyline is about Sergeant Maritan, a Drill Instructor from the U.S. Marines, and her daily routine. However, it is revealed that she is secretly a Princess from the Magical Kingdom of Paris Island, which has a treaty with the United States of America. Under the watchful eye of Lieutenant Commander Navy-tan, Maritan often harshly trains new recruits. Towards the end of the story, GA-tan, a bespectacled character from the Self Defence Forces, makes an appearance.

Derived from Harutoshi Fukui's original Mobile Suit Gundam UC novels, the prequel manga revolves around the events of the Sengo no Sensō (The Postwar War) short story, featured in the 11th volume. It follows the Neo Zeon remnants' act of capturing the Sinanju Stein mobile suit.
Zeon National Public Safety Division Investigator, Leopold Fieseler, was deeply entrenched in his investigation of a series of devastating terrorist bombings that had shaken Side 3 in December of UC0073. Without warning, he received a call from an old friend from childhood, Elise Ann Finnegan, with whom he had lost contact over the years. Elise, now employed in the Prefectural Office, urgently requested a meeting with Leopold. When they finally met, Elise handed him a disc containing a list of Zeon Officials at risk of assassination. What caught Leopold's attention, besides the urgency of the situation, was that all the officials were somehow connected to the bombings he was currently investigating. Initially, Leopold suspected that the list had been leaked to the press. However, upon closer inspection, he made a shocking discovery. The list included not only those that had already been victimized by the bombings, but also others, including the name of one that sent chills down his spine - "Commander Gihren Zabi," the leader of the Principality of Zeon.
