Mei Haruno possesses the rare gift of being able to detect arrows hovering above individuals that indicate their beloved. Despite her natural talent, Mei has trouble accepting her ability due to her past encounters. Furthermore, she is incapable of spotting her own arrow and encounters feelings of resentment when she encounters sappy couples. Disheartened, Mei decides to start anew by enrolling in a different high school. Unexpectedly, Mei's life takes a sudden turn when she reconnects with her best friend Sayo Shirayuki after seven years of separation. Before relocating, Sayo confessed her affection for Mei and stayed true to her sentiment by carrying an arrow for her. The plot thickens when Mei inadvertently rescues Rinna Fukatsu from a panic attack, and Rinna begins to harbor romantic sentiments towards Mei. Managing two suitors when her initial idea was to evade romance entirely, Mei is compelled to confront her emotions while balancing the feelings of everyone else involved.
