Recently, it was decided that a high school should be founded to educate the youth in these area where they'd previously had no such guidance: the School of Water Business, "Mizushou", located in Tokyo's Shinjuku ward. The story is from the perspective of a teacher, Tanabe Keisuke, who was transferred there to help teach that school's first generation of students. --------------------------- From the Old Gringo --------------------------- Toritsu Mizushou first appeared as a light novel by Hikaru Morozumi. The manga series doesn't seem to share very much with the novel other than the setting, so in a way you might call it an authorized doujin. Shinobu Inokuma's series before this was Salad Days, and you can find similar character designs there. One character in Salad Days is cloned into an entire baseball team in Mizushou. But unlike Salad Days, Mizushou is much more focused on major characters, and story arcs tend to become longer as the series goes on. All in all, great comedy and good soap opera. Explicit sexual content has been surprisingly rare, more or less equivalent to Kenichi Sonada's Gunsmith Cats or Cannon God Exaxxion. The apartment-sharing comedy manga begins with Meme, the daughter of the demon world's most powerful summoner. After her father suddenly casts her into the human world to teach her some lessons, she finds an ad for an apartment with no rent or upfront fees. Probably a spin-off of Kannazuki no Miko. Himeko, a devout Christian at a church, has lost her mother, father, and older sister, Chikane, when she was younger. While cleaning the chapel, she encounters a girl, who resembles her sister in face and name, impaled by a sword. Himeko is thankful to God for giving her another opportunity to see someone like her sister again, but she is then later attacked by another girl who say she possesses the "dragon's cry" within her body. Chikane vows to protect her.

The story centers around a number of witches. The heroine is Kagome, a low level witch with enormous strength. She has for mission to kill Tamakichi, a high school student with a demon soul, and a very unlucky boy. Fortunately she doesn't succeed, begins to like him and becomes his bodyguard instead. Other witches with more magical power also have an interest for Tamakichi, i.e. they want to mate with him because they believe their magical powers will increase when succeeding. This is something Kagome doesn't like of course. Pink Sabbath is a nice comedy, lots of fun.
