Our protagonist's journey across Planet Zebes in Super Metroid is humorously portrayed in three short stories.
Ichigo Kurosaki, a high school student, possesses the ability to see the spirits of the dead that doesn't hinder him from leading a regular life. However, his ordinary routine is disrupted when Rukia Kuchiki, a Soul Reaper, invades his room and warns him of the Hollows, malevolent spirits that consume souls. In the midst of their conversation, a Hollow attacks, and Ichigo foolishly attempts to fend it off. Rukia intervenes and is wounded. To defeat the enemy, Rukia shares a plan to transfer her powers to Ichigo, transferring the powers entirely when he accepts. Now with his own Soul Reaper abilities, Ichigo recognizes his duty to eradicate Hollows and defend spirits, both living and dead. Ichigo's friends, Orihime and Yasutora, also discover their spiritual abilities and help him. However, the path that comes with becoming a Soul Reaper and entering the supernatural realm proves to be more complicated than anticipated.

When Jousuke witnesses the threat that this poses, he resolves to protect his town and stop the spread of lethal Stand users. Finding both allies and enemies among these users, Jousuke learns just how much one's personal interests and ambitions can be reflected in their Stands, and the resulting harm or virtue it brings. As they continue to investigate, they begin to unearth the shocking history of Morioh, bringing forth hidden dangers and a mystery from years past.

Armed with the power of Stands, a globe-trotting adventure from Japan to Egypt—where their adversary resides—begins. Meeting an array of nefarious Stand users along the way, as well as new allies, the team leads a crusade to save Holly and put an end to their enemy for good.
