Tokyo's Ginza district was transformed into a scene from the underworld when an unexpected gate appeared, unleashing strange creatures and soldiers. The portal turned out to lead to an alternate world that was ruled by a militaristic empire and teeming with supernatural beings. In response, the Japanese Self-Defense Force dispatched a team of soldiers to gather intelligence about the empire and its inhabitants. Led by an otaku, the group embarked on a perilous journey through the fantastical universe. Amidst the unfamiliar landscape, the team discovered a village destroyed by a fierce dragon with fiery breath. In the wreckage, they found a wounded elven girl who had hidden in a well. Driven by a newfound sense of responsibility, the group vowed to help and warn neighboring towns of the dragon's menace. As they traveled through the realm, they met more female allies with magical powers and gained greater understanding of the treacherous world they had entered.
